[ncl-talk] How to get the data of a certain province from a netcdf file?

If I have a shapefile data of a certain province as well as a netcdf file containing global grid data, how can I get the data exactly in the province from the nc file (I want to have the province-averaged values of climate variables)? please help me,Thanks very much!
