[ncl-talk] Making One dimensional Plot of wind

Dear all.
I have to plot the wind Speed and Direction in vertical at a particular point (Station).
I have tried to illustrate below on the VERTICAL line which represents the height.  I have to plot the Wind Barbs (say 5kts NE ly at 0.9km).
I have computed the U and V component from WS and WD . My data has height, U, V components as shown in output below

Can someone pls suggest how to go about doing it.. the code and data are attached and the O/p of U and V are also shown below
