[ncl-talk] NCL installation

Ana,
Did you install XQuartz after you downloaded the dmg file? It's not enough
to just download the dmg file. You need to click on it in order to do the
installation.
Once XQuartz is running you should see a black X with an orange circle
around it in your MacOS dock.
What happens if you type "xclock" from the same Terminal window when you
run "ng4ex"? If you get a message, please include that message.
DISPLAY should be getting set for you, so I'm wondering if something in
your environment is causing DISPLAY to get unset, either by one of the
".xxxxx" files in your home directory or some other method.
Finally, have you tried rebooting your Mac and logging back in?
