Dear Mary,

Yes, I opened a terminal and typed: ng4ex xy01n -clean

I have the latest version: 10.13.6

echo $SHELL: /bin/bash

echo $DISPLAY does not show anything

I downloaded XQuartz-2.7.11.dmg
