[ncl-talk] irregular time axis

I am trying to plot a data with some missing points in time e,g.

I have data from 01-Jan-1999 to 14-May-1999, then a gap and then data
values are from 25-Oct-1999 to 25-Dec-1999.  The NCL plot I have done
doesn't seem to be good. It shows a long gap between May and Oct, how can I
address this?

Any advice is appreciated.
