[ncl-talk] Function codes

Hi,

I'm trying to apply some function codes and I noted that U didn't work as I
expected. In the string

“ABC~L10~ABCDEFGHIJKL~U~mno”

I expected that the last three characters would appear in uppercase, but
they continue in lowercase. I'm thinking I lost something.

I'm using NCL 6.4.0.

A suggestion: update documentation about Function Codes (
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Graphics/function_code.shtml) informing
that default function code is ~, since version 6.2.1 (as said in
https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/text.shtml).
