[ncl-talk] plotting NAM output winds

I tried to plot NAM output winds on a map but it did not work. NAM is on a
2-degree lat/lon lambert conformal grid. I saw something on NCL's site that
they are working on plotting winds in the future. Is this still the case or
is there a workaround?
