[ncl-talk] start up message

Not a big issue, but just wondering if there is any way to prevent NCL
giving the "copyright-version" start up message?

I'm calling a small script hundreds of times in a loop and want to watch
for the odd warning/error messages in my code, but these occasional
print statements get lost in all the welcome messages.  I know I can
print the warnings to a file, but when debugging it is simpler just to
write to screen...
