The Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO), part of the Center for
Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian (https://www.cfa.harvard.edu/), is
seeking two Postdoctoral Researchers to join and strengthen our TEMPO team.
The TEMPO (Tropospheric Emissions: Monitoring of Pollution) satellite
instrument measures air quality and atmospheric composition over North
America with unprecedented temporal and spatial resolution.

The successful candidates will join the SAO TEMPO Group, focusing their
efforts on:
- Improving the TEMPO instrument's calibration.
- Enhancing Level 0 to 1 algorithms.
- Developing new trace gas products.
- Level 2 product validation.

Position Details:
- Position Type: Full-time
- Duration: Fixed 2-year contract (with the possibility of a 1-year
extension subject to satisfactory performance).
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
