University of America (Washington DC) are available - to work on a US
DOE-funded project to study the kinetic aspects of the conversion-type
materials for Li-ion energy storage technology.

Energy Materials Innovation (EMI) group led by Dr. Chuan-Fu Lin at the
School of Engineering in the Catholic University of America located in
Washington D.C. is looking for experienced and highly self-motivated PhD
student and Postdoctoral Research Associate with interest in
electrochemical energy storage, thin film processing, and novel materials
characterization. The selected candidate will conduct cutting edge research
in exploring the fundamental material response and properties of next
generation, high energy battery systems using thin-film platforms and
interfacial controls. Device fabrication and advanced materials
characterization will be highly involved. The preferable starting date of
the position is April 2024 for postdoc and Sept 2024 for graduate research
assistants.
