The Coastal Hydrogeology Lab at Old Dominion University is looking for new Ph.D. and M.S. applicants to join our lab group starting in Fall 2022! Dr. Joseph Tamborski leads the Coastal Hydrogeology group in the Department of Ocean & Earth Sciences at ODU, where we study groundwater-surface water exchange using radioisotope tracers and geophysical methods. Research areas include groundwater as a "blue carbon" vector, submarine groundwater discharge, the hydrogeology of pro-glacial lake systems, and sediment accumulation in tidal wetlands.
