Join our team! The atmospheric chemistry group at the University of
Minnesota (https://www.atmoschem.umn.edu/) seeks applications for a
Postdoctoral Associate to work with us in developing and interpreting
exciting new satellite measurements of atmospheric VOCs from CrIS. The
postdoc will use these new datasets with the GEOS-Chem chemical transport
model to study key air quality and climate issues including fossil fuel
emissions, wildfires, and biosphere-atmosphere exchange.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic research group that couples
measurements with modeling to examine natural and human-caused impacts on
atmospheric composition. We are based at the University of Minnesota (UMN),
which offers a rich and collaborative research environment with ample
opportunities for professional development, in the heart of a large and
diverse metropolitan area. At UMN we value having a diversity of views and
experiences that enrich our campus community and foster excellence. We are
dedicated to creating a campus culture that respects everyone equally. We
strongly encourage applications from women, minorities, and other
underrepresented groups.
Please see z.umn.edu/atmoschem-position for more details and application
instructions.
