Job: Postdoctoral Research AssociatePosition details

We are seeking an outstanding postdoctoral candidate to work on a
NASA-funded project to develop and test a low temperature, ice nucleating
particle (INP) counter. The position is for two years and will be based in
Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
Responsibilities

●     Assist with design of a novel, low temperature, ice nucleating
particle counter

●     Lead laboratory experiments to fully test and characterize the new
instrument, including collaborating with our partners at Colorado State
University for intercomparison with their systems.
Required Qualifications

●     PhD in atmospheric science or related field

●     Firm grasp of scientific concepts and experience performing
laboratory experiments

●     Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills and reasoning ability

●     Ability to communicate effectively and clearly

●     Self-motivated and team worker
Desired Qualifications

●       Experience with aerosol and INP measurements

●       Experience with aircraft-based instrumentation
