Dear Colleagues,

This year the Atmospheric and Space Electricity (ASE) Section is hosting an event at the AGU Fall Meeting for students and early-career scientists interested in hearing about career opportunities in Atmospheric Electricity.

The event is called "Atmospheric and Space Electricity Student and Early Career Event: Career Opportunities Panel" and will be hosted by Sonja Behnke (ASE Secretary) and myself (Caitano da Silva). Look for the event in the AGU registration page and add it to your registration free of charge.

During this event you'll hear from ASE members currently working in academia, government and private industry. You'll learn about what it is like to work in these different sectors, what skills you need to be successful, and how to prepare for your career.

The event is on Monday December 7th at 3:00PM PST / 6:00 PM EST / 23:00 UTC.

There’s still time to register to attend this event. Please keep in mind that there are a limited number of tickets available and event registration will close on November 24th.

For those of you who have already registered to attend this event, thank you! For all who have not, we hope to see you there!

Regards,
Caitano L. da Silva
