Dear All,
Just two days away from Fall AGU abstract submission deadline. Please
consider
to submit abstract to the SA018 session on the *“**Longitudinal Variability
of Equatorial Electrodynamics, Ionospheric Irregularities, and Ambient
Electron Density**”, *detail description of the session is shown below.

The abstract submission site is now open and the link to SA018 session is:

Session
(SA018)
Description:

Longitudinal Variability of Equatorial Electrodynamics, Ionospheric
Irregularities, and Ambient Electron Density
Recent distributed ground and space-based observations show significant
longitudinal variability of low latitude electrodynamics that directly
affects the global electron density distribution and scintillation
forecasting capabilities. This session attempts to address some of the
longstanding questions: - what are the controlling factors that cause
strong longitudinal dependence of low latitudes electrodynamics? - what is
the variability of these controlling factors on different temporal scales,
from daily to seasonal and intraseasonal? - how low latitude
electrodynamics modifies the global electron density structures and
irregularities at low and middle latitudes? We welcome papers (both
modeling and observation) that describe progress in understanding
equatorial electrodynamics and coupling processes that improve our ability
to unravel the variability of equatorial ionosphere with longitude and to
forecast global ionospheric irregularities/scintillations and ambient
electron density.
Best regards,
