Hello
I have a doubt regarding the parameter auxinput5_interval in the
namelist.input in WRF/Chem 3.4.1
I am using standard EDGAR emissions using prep-chem-src with
io_style_emissions=1
Since EDGAR is in per annum format initially and it gets converted to per
second in the wrfchemi file after running convert_emissions.exe, how often
is it read into the model during the run?
Is any diurnal cycle function applied to give a weightage to the emissions
(which will otherwise be flat in time)? I have currently set
auxinput5_interval_m=86400. Is this in minutes or seconds? In either case,
how often are the emissions going into the model? And what is the correct
format to use for EDGAR emissions?
