[ncl-talk] Mysterious Map (Smaller Version)

Hi Barry,
I am having trouble following your graphing section, but I can tell you
that NCL (occasionally?) does not like it when a contour color field all
falls in one color bin. You can see if that is the issue by randomly
setting a point to a value of a different labelbar color bin. (So if all
your values are between 1 and 3, set a single point to 10 and see what
happens.) If that "fixes" things, then the before mentioned issue is the
problem. I have gotten around this by setting a grid point just off the
frame to a different color bin, but you may have to experiment.
