# [ncl-talk] Making One dimensional Plot of wind

```thanks Dr Shea for giving me the clue.
I saw those examples, In those examples, the u and v are in 2 dimensional variables.
u = a->U			; (time, lev)
v = a->V		        ; (time, lev)

But in my case, I have text file where u and v are single dimensional variables.

kindly suggest.
