Hi Adam,
Thanks a lot. Daniele Mastrangelo already helped me with my poor knowledge of Ncl. Setting cnInfoString to the empty string was more effective.

Hi Stéphane,
That position is the normal location for the contour information label. Try setting cnInfoLabelOn = False. If that doesn't work, please attach your resource list to ncl-talk.
