[ncl-talk] Fwd: Files requested

I am not an expert on what might cause a message saying "*421 Service not
available, remote server has closed connection*".
Perhaps it was taking too long.

These files are large.
These files are compressed via 'gzip', hence the '.gz' extension. They
*MUST be uncompressed *prior* to reading:

%> gzip -d OMEGA.2001-2005.nc.gz

with yield OMEGA.2001-2005.nc

Each .gz file must be decompressed

Do you have a local expert available?
