[ncl-talk] How to mask the undesired areas on the overlaid plot?

Dear NCL experts,
On the base map, the data in the undesired areas can be easily masked using mpMaskAreaSpecifiers and mpOutlineSpecifiers. But how can I mask the unwanted areas on the overlaid plot? Could anyone help me?
