[ncl-talk] save as layer

Dears,As I know ncl could read shapefiles, but could it save output as a layer, too? I've seen this link "https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Document/Graphics/Interfaces/gsn_open_wks.shtml", and I know about different format of the output of ncl, and it seems ".shp" is not the format of the output of ncl. I've just want to be sure.I'll be thankful if I hear from you.
