[ncl-talk] Y axis breaks

Hello!

I am plotting two datasets with values in very different ranges in one XY plot using the overlay function. One dataset ranges from 0 to 20 percent, the other one from 70 to 100 percent. I'd like to eliminate the white space in between the datasets by creating a break in the y axis, similar to the figure attached. I found an NCL talk archive email by Adam Phillips from 2007 on this (https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/talk_archives/2007/1443.html <https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/talk_archives/2007/1443.html>), but it didn’t have any code or figures. Does anyone know how to do this? I included my code, but it’s very long and complex, so I also included a sample plot that’ll hopefully help understand it.
