[ncl-talk] shape file_to_netcdf

Dear NCL users,

I am trying to convert the attached .shp file to netcdf using
*ncl_convert2nc fire_archive_M6_21901.shp*


but it's giving an error message

fatal:FileAddVar: an error occurred while adding variable <ACQ_DATE> to
file <fire_archive_M6_21901>, check to make sure data type is supported by
the output format

fatal:["Execute.c":8640]:Execute: Error occurred at or near line 531 in
file /var/folders/7n/9l1fjdyx2956wzlwj8tlnbmr0000gn/T/tmp64062-5bb43397.ncl


if you have any information on that please share with me
