[ncl-talk] Latent heat energy

Hello,

I am trying to calculate latent heat energy and moist static energy.

The equation is as follows;

mse=cpd*(temp)+g*height+lv*q
Where lv=latent heat of vaporisation
q=specific humidity.
cpd=1003.5 J/kg/K
and ...
In this equation what is reffered by lv*q?
Please let me know the above.
