[ncl-talk] Unable to use colormap

Hi all,

I wanted to use the cmocean_ice.rgb colormap to plot a contour plot. I
downloaded the rgb file from the NCL website and tried to put it in
$NCARG_ROOT/lib/ncarg/colormaps.
The errors comes that permission is denied even though I changed the
permission of both the path and the file. Does anyone have experience on
downloading/using new colormaps in NCL? I am using NCL version 6.4.0.
