[ncl-talk] How can I get the data files used in the NCL example scripts "rcm_2.ncl"?

Hello,

I may have created this example.
I have looked at numerous data directories. Unfortunately, I could not find
the file.
I believe the file was purged from the system.

Must it be a 'Cray Binary' file?

or

any example of reading & plotting a binary file?

The attached is similar to rcm_2.ncl. It reads a big-endian, binary
sequential file [fortran default binary write mode]
Users must provide appropriate size, shape, units, _FillValue (if
appropriate)  and variable type  information.

Also, there are numerous examples of reading and plotting data from binary
files at:
