[ncl-talk] Irregular X and Y axis

HiI have to put log scale on the Y axis and I am using res at xyYStyle           =   "Log"  ; as in example https://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/Scripts/xy_16.ncl
No error/warning message is recd. But the log scale is not put on the Y axis. 
can someone help me???
