[ncl-talk] Help (Function SPEI and an error message

Dear Tya,

There is no "spei" function in NCL unfortunately.

We were going to add one, but the C code that we had inherited serious
problems and we had to pull it. The original author created a new function
entirely written in R. We don't have a way to interface to this routine
from NCL.
