[ncl-talk] reading pnetcdf/CDF-5 files

Hi Gerard,
Support for CDF5 was added to the NetCDF C library for version 4.4.0.
We have enabled support in NCL for this feature and the next release
of NCL will include it. If you are in a hurry we could make a
pre-release version available on request.
