[ncl-talk] Coloring Stipple

Hi ncl-talk,
Is it possible to color stipple?
I have three plots from the same data:
1) Colored contours
2) Colored contours, mask()'d below a certain value (let's say, y)
3) Stipple (shade pattern #17), only plotted between y and x, x being
smaller again than y, 'filtered' with cnLevels.

I'd like to color the stipple (3), using the colors from 1), and overlay
this on top of 2) to show a sort of less dense representation of the colors
that would be there for 2) if they did not fall below the critical value y.
