[ncl-talk] eofunc gets stuck

Hi I am new to the EOFUNC in NCL. I use it on two product versions of MODIS
AOD to extract the first two modes. It works well on one version and only
takes a few seconds to run the script. For the other product version, the
script simply gets stuck and not produce any results after a long wait.
While it is obvious that the data itself is the reason for the function not
to work, but I find it hard to understand exactly why. Any hints on this?
