[ncl-talk] Plotting RAP fields

Hi Jim,

Can you provide us with some RAP data, so we can take a look at see what
kind of coordinate system it has?  Generally, if you have lat/lon
coordinates for the U and V, it shouldn't be too hard to plot wind data.

You can see a basic example by looking at "vector_3.ncl" at:

http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Applications/vector.shtml

You can actually run this example as-is, because the data file is included
with the NCL distribution.
