Dear all ncl users;
I was using windrose plot at the following link:
NCL Graphics: Wind Rose
NCL Graphics: Wind Rose
NCL graphics examples page. Describes how to create wind rose plots.
View on www.ncl.ucar.edu Preview by Yahoo
However, the plot result is not so good when I increase the number of numPetals, as follow:
;******************************
; specify plot arguments
;******************************
numPetals = 36 ;
circFr = 2.
spdBounds = (/ 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 /)*1.0
the result can be seen at the attached file. Problem is that some lines for wind speed of 0-1 of southerly wind are not visible.
Thank you for sharing.
regards
joeky
