[ncl-install] NCL Installation failure in Ubuntu 18.04

Hi Suma,

Which of the pre-compiled binaries did you install? Ubuntu 18.04 is very new and we haven’t tested it with any of our existing binaries, so I’m not sure if any of them would actually be compatible. Of the available binary tarballs, I think that “ncl_ncarg-6.4.0-Debian8.6_64bit_gnu492.tar.gz” is most likely to be compatible with your system.

Also, could you please try running “ncl -V”?
