[ncl-install] ncl for SUSE linux

Hi,

I'd like to install ncl on SUSE linux. When I type 'uname -a', I get

Linux suse 2.6.16.60-0.85.1-smp &1 SMP Thu Mar 17 11:45:06 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.

And the gcc version is

gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20070115 (SUSE Linux).

For the latest ncl 6.2.0, there is only one gcc4.1.2 binary package for RedHat. It was said the RedHat binaries only work on RedHat and one should try the Debian binary for suse (http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/install_archives/2011/0159.html). But there is no Debian binary for gcc4.1.2.
Which one should I download for my op system?
