<body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'>Hi,<br><br>I'd like to install ncl on SUSE linux. When I type 'uname -a', I get<br><br>Linux suse 2.6.16.60-0.85.1-smp &amp;1 SMP Thu Mar 17 11:45:06 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux.<br><br>And the gcc version is<br><br>gcc (GCC) 4.1.2 20070115 (SUSE Linux).<br><br>For the latest ncl 6.2.0, there is only one gcc4.1.2 binary package for RedHat. It was said&nbsp;the RedHat binaries only work on RedHat and one should try the Debian binary for suse (<a href="http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/install_archives/2011/0159.html" target="_blank">http://www.ncl.ucar.edu/Support/install_archives/2011/0159.html</a>). But there is no Debian binary for gcc4.1.2.<div><br></div><div>Which one should I download for my op system?<br><br>Thanks in advance.<br>Jian</div>                                               </div></body>
