Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------
Hello,
I am wondering how to define the level for PBL? Like I want to get UGRD at
PBL, how to define that?
e.g:
name = "UGRD";
level = "Z10"; and Z10 for 10m above ground
level = [ "P850", "P250" ] for pressure level at 850mb NS 250MB,
How about UGRD at PBL height? Thank you.
Binyu

Hi Binyu.
Please try the following configuration:
name=“UGRD”;
level=“L0”;
GRIB_lvl_typ=220;
The GRIB_lvl_typ integer was retrieved from this GRIB2 documentation
table:
https://www.nco.ncep.noaa.gov/pmb/docs/grib2/grib2_doc/grib2_table4-
5.shtml
I hope that helps!
Julie
