Hello,

Do you have a step-by-step installation manual for MET by chance?  If not,
then no worries.  We have a request to install the software on a Linux
machine and there are no easy install options (PIP, yum, etc) as far as I
can tell.

Hello Dusty,

It looks like you have questions regarding the installation on MET on
Linux.  We have some instructions in our online tutorial
documentation,
under the Introduction section:

You could also take a look at one of the install scripts we have
developed
for installing on some of the NCAR and NOAA hosts:

     https://dtcenter.org/community-code/model-evaluation-tools-
met/download

scroll down to the section "Sample Script For Compiling External
Libraries
And MET".  The script you will want to use is compile_MET_all.sh and
tar_files.tgz (which contains all the necessary dependencies).

I hope those will be of use to you.
