  Initial Request

Dear MET help,

When I run ascii2nc, there is a error:
/glade/p_old/ral/jnt/MET/MET_releases/cheyenne/met-6.1/bin/ascii2nc: error
while loading shared libraries: libnetcdf_c++4.so.1: cannot open shared
object file: No such file or directory

The followings are my environmental setting :
module use /glade/p_old/ral/jnt/MET/MET_releases/cheyenne/modulefiles
module load met/6.1

Would you please help me using MET on Cheyenne (i.e. how to set
environment)?

Thank you so much,

Junmei

Hi Junmei.

After the move, we reinstalled met-7.0 at:

/glade/p/ral/jntp/MET/MET_releases/

You could run:

module use /glade/p/ral/jntp/MET/MET_releases/modulefiles/
module load met/7.0

Will met-7.0 work for you or would you prefer to have access to met-
6.1?

Thanks!

Julie

Junmei,

I just made a change to the modulefile at the p_old location. met-6.1
should work for you now, in case you would like to stick with that
version. Please let me know if it does not.

Thanks,
Julie
