Hi Karen.
It looks like met-6.0 is attempting to read the output of met-6.1.
Could
you please try loading the met/6.1 module and see if that works?
Thanks!
Joe

Subject: MET_TC Modules and error using Theia
From: Julie Prestopnik
Time: Fri Feb 09 11:00:56 2018
First, my apologies, my name is Julie, not Joe. I'm not sure if that
was
autocorrect or not... In any case...
I see in your list of currently loaded modules "met/6.1", but I also
see "
/scratch4/BMC/dtc/MET/met-6.0/bin/tc_stat" in the error indicating
that
met-6.0 is being used.
So, let's try this. Please open a new shell for a clean environment
and
set the following environment variables:
module use /contrib/modulefiles
module load ncview wgrib R met/6.1
setenv MET_FONT_DIR /contrib/met/6.1/fonts
setenv MET_BUILD_BASE /contrib/met/6.1/met-6.1
setenv RSCRIPTS_BASE ${MET_BUILD_BASE}/scripts/Rscripts
If you experience any module conflicts or problems with modules,
please run
"module purge" and start over.
Then, please try running your code again. Please let us know how it
goes.
Thanks!
Julie

Hi Julie,
I followed your suggestion and I get another error. I tried as well
"module

? -dep TK_ERR,ABS\(AMAX_WIND-BMAX_WIND\) \
? -plot BOXPLOT,MEAN,MEDIAN

Subject: MET_TC Modules and error using Theia
From: Julie Prestopnik
Time: Mon Feb 12 09:03:33 2018
Hi Keren. Please try setting the environment variable MET_INSTALL_DIR
to
/contrib/met/6.1/met-6.1/ and then try again. Please let me know how
it
goes.
Thanks,
Julie

From: Keren Rosado - NOAA Affiliate

Hi Julie,
Now I am getting ERROR: The "MET_BASE" environment variable must be
set.
I don't understand why I am having all this trouble when I used MET
before.
Thanks,
Keren

Subject: MET_TC Modules and error using Theia
From: Julie Prestopnik
Time: Tue Feb 13 08:59:01 2018
Hi Keren. Please try setting the environment variable MET_BASE to
/contrib/met/6.1/met-6.1/share/met/ and then try again. Please let me
know
how it goes.
My apologies. I am not sure why you are having this trouble compared
to
your previous experience with MET. I do not know what your
environment was
like previously, what version you had been using, and what may have
changed. I feel confident we can get this working for you though.
