Hi,

I am a sysadmin for the OSCER center at the University of Oklahoma.  I am trying to build MET 6 for a user after a bug was discovered in MET 5.2.  I am encountering problems with the netCDF4-cxx bindings not being present after following the build guide.

I have attached the log of the last make attempt.  It succeeds for quite a number of directories, then errors out because the netcdf.hh file cannot be found.

I could use guidance on how to succeed in this build.

Hi Kali.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble building met-6.0.
Unfortunately, the log file was not attached.

I'd like to pass on a link to our installation instructions (for MET
and
its required and optional libraries) from our online met-6.0 tutorial.
Please take a look and see if this helps to answer any of your
questions:

With met-6.0, there was a switch from using NetCDF3 to NetCDF4.
Hopefully,
the link to the instructions will help, but please follow up with any
questions you may have, and if you are able to get a successful
compilation, please let us know that too.
