  Initial Request
----------------------------------------------------------------

Hi, there,

I understand that the latest beta version of MET (I don't remember which
version) is now on WCOSS. Can someone demonstrate how to access it? It
might be an email somewhere but it's buried and I'd like to know which
module to now access.

Thanks!

Perry

Hi Perry.

The latest beta version (met-6.1_beta2) is installed on WCOSS, but
only on
tida and luna at this time. met-6.1_beta1 is on gyre and surge right
now,
but I am hoping to update that to met-6.1_beta2 today and will follow
up
with you once that is ready.

See below for the details on each machine, and please let me know if
you
have any questions.

Thanks,
Julie

On *tide*:

Users should run the following to access its tools:

module use /global/noscrub/Julie.Prestopnik/modulefiles
module load met/6.1_beta2

On *luna*:

Users should run the following to access its tools:

module use /gpfs/hps3/emc/global/noscrub/Julie.Prestopnik/modulefiles
module load met/6.1_beta2
On *gyre*:

Users should run the following to access its tools:

module use /global/noscrub/Julie.Prestopnik/modulefiles
module load met/6.1_beta1

On* surge*:

Users should run the following to access its tools:

module use /gpfs/hps/emc/global/noscrub/Julie.Prestopnik/modulefiles
(This
path may not be correct right now as I believe they removed the
symlinks
for hps. The path likely needs to be /gpfs/hps3/...)
module load met/6.1_beta1
