Hello!
I want to use the STAT-Analysis tools and write one CNT file from my point-stat result of 24 stat files with 3 hour interval.
when I do not set fcst_lead of the STAT-Analysis configuration file, the output CNT file is followed:

it is visible that the time older is rules, because I want to output from the first time (20120721_030000) to last time(20120724_000000) and the file do not comply.
I will do not set detail of config( fcst_valid_beg = ""; fcst_valid_end = ""; fcst_valid_hour = [];) , because I have many initial forecast time cases. it is cumbersome to set for every cases, and then I set the fcst_lead of the STAT-Analysis configuration file :
fcst_lead =["030000","060000","090000","120000","150000","180000","210000","240000","270000","300000","330000","360000","390000","420000","450000","480000","510000","540000","570000","600000","630000","660000","690000","720000"];
the output CNT file is the same as the previous, so I want to how can I get the sequence of from my first to last time.
Could you give me some suggest?

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I'm having a
difficult time following the exact question you're asking. It sounds
to me like you have 24 STAT files, and you'd like to use
STAT-Analysis to run a "filter" job on them and subset them in some
way. However, I don't understand exactly how you'd like to subset
them.
Let suppose all of your ".stat" file are in a directory named "out".
You could run the following stat_analysis job to filter out all CNT
lines from the ".stat" files in the "out" and write them to a
single file named "cnt_lines.stat":
stat_analysis -job filter -lookin out -dump_row cnt_lines.stat
-line_type CNT
The following job will do the same but only for lead times 00, 12, and
24:
stat_analysis -job filter -lookin out -dump_row
cnt_lines_00_12_24.stat -line_type CNT -fcst_lead 00 -fcst_lead 12
-fcst_lead 24
If you can clarify exactly how you'd like to filter the data, I should
be able to help you set up STAT-Analysis to accomplish it.
