Hello,
When I try to run  point_stat module with this  commande line :

./point_stat /home/cnpm/test/wrfout_d01_2010-08-31_00:00:00
/home/cnpm/METv2.0/bin/sorties ../data/config/PointStatConfig_default -v 2

I get this message :

GSL_RNG_TYPE=mt19937
GSL_RNG_SEED=3124266572
Forecast File: /home/cnpm/test/wrfout_d01_2010-08-31_00:00:00
Climatology File: none
Configuration File: ../data/config/PointStatConfig_default
Observation File: /home/cnpm/METv2.0/bin/sorties
NetCDF: Attribute not found
and there is no *.txt output file in output directory .

any suggestions and thank you.

Rabah,

The MET utility point_stat is not designed to read the NetCDF output
of WRF directly.  In order to feed WRF model output
into MET, it must be processed using the WRF Post Processor.
Information about this can be found in Chapter 7 of the
NMM User's Guide:
