[Met_help] Problem compiling met v2.0 on ubuntu 9.10 64bit

Hi,

I am trying to install METv2.0 on an Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit machine.

g++ version 4.4.1
gfortran version 4.4.1

I applied the patches in the file METv2.0_patches_20091223.tar.gz

I am getting the following errors while running make:
