[Grad-postdoc-assn] DBAMS November Meeting - Dr. Curtis Walker, Surface Transportation Meteorology Expert

Hello DBAMS Members and Friends,

The local Denver/Boulder AMS chapter will be hosting Dr. Curtis Walker, a
former Weather Operations intern with the Colorado Department of
Transportation (CDOT) and current Advanced Study Program (ASP) Postdoctoral
Fellow in the NCAR Research Applications Laboratory.

Dr. Walker will provide an overview of the broad needs for weather decision
support at the intersection of meteorology and transportation through his
recent experience with CDOT, prior experience with the Nebraska DOT, and
ongoing research at NCAR.
When: *Thursday, November 7, 2019*
Where: National Center for Atmospheric Research, Mesa Laboratory,
Main Seminar Room (ML-132)
1850 Table Mesa Drive, Boulder, CO
