I am writing on behalf of Prof. Kaiyu Guan, Founding Director of the
Agroecosystem Sustainability Center (ASC) at the University of Illinois
Urbana-Champaign, who was recently named a 2026 MacArthur Fellow.

Prof. Guan's group is recruiting for the 2026–2027 cycle in AI for
Agroecosystem Science, which combines AI, Earth observation, and scientific
modeling to understand and predict agricultural ecosystems. We have
openings for:

   1. Postdoctoral Researchers
   2. Research Scientists
   3. PhD Students
   4. AI / Scientific Software Engineers
