 14 Ph. D. vacancies on climate impacts within the Horizon Europe MSCA-DN
Project CLIMES

We are now recruiting *14 Ph. D. candidates* on different topics related to
impacts of climate extremes, within the CLIMES Doctoral Network project
<https://www.climes.se/climesdn/> (Understanding and Predicting Impacts of
Climate Extremes under Global Change). CLIMES DN is funded by the European
Commission under Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant No. 101226348.

*Further Details and Application*
The positions are available *across 10 different universities and research
centres* in Europe. You can find the full list of vacancies on the EURAXESS

is around *September 2026*.

*The Positions*
CLIMES aims to train a cohort of Climate Impacts Experts, who can integrate
knowledge from climate science, data science, risk assessment, and the
social sciences to enhance European climate resilience and further Europe's
capacity for research and innovation in this field.
You will have access to unique training opportunities, will complete
international secondments and will contribute to the development of a
vibrant network of senior and emerging scientists.

*Eligibility*
Candidates of all nationalities are welcome, provided they have not resided
or carried out their main activity in the country of the institution to
which they apply for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before
the recruitment date. At the time of recruitment, the candidates must be in
the first four years of their research careers and must not yet have been
awarded a Ph. D. or equivalent degree. A full list of eligibility
