Postdoctoral Researcher Position – Climate Change and Climate Intervention (C3I) Group, Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University, Taiwan
 
We are looking for a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our Climate Change and Climate Intervention (C3I) research group at the Department of Atmospheric Sciences, National Central University, Taiwan.
 
Description:
The postdoc will contribute to research aimed at enhancing the understanding of climate change, its effects on extreme weather events, and potential climate intervention strategies. The work will primarily involve analyzing satellite observations, reanalysis datasets, global climate models, and artificial intelligence/machine learning models.

Qualification:
·     The ideal applicant will be expected to have a background in one or more of the following areas: atmospheric science, statistics, big data analytics, computer/data science, or related physical sciences. 
·     Proficiency in at least one programming language is highly desirable (e.g., Python, NCL, etc.)
·     Be able to communicate in English and have high responsibility.
·     The selected candidates will receive a competitive salary and benefits package in accordance with National Central University’s regulations.
